Wrights seeks a vibrant and passionate PR Account Manager looking to advance their career with a dynamic consultancy, working alongside some of Australia’s best-known brands and events.

As the successful candidate, you will have demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of creative PR strategies across traditional and digital channels. As an account lead, you will have solid agency experience and be great at managing people, projects, and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide public relations and communications services to existing clients, help generate new business and manage junior team members.

  • Develop and execute integrated communications campaigns and strategies
  • As the main day-to-day client contact, maintain an excellent level of client service, including proactively identifying opportunities
  • End-to-end campaign and project management
  • Develop and maintain strong media and client stakeholder relationships
  • Develop compelling media materials, strong pitches and other written communication
  • Troubleshooting problems and effectively come up with solutions to help your clients and the team
  • Working with the wider team on new business proposals and pitches

YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Recognised qualification in public relations, communications, marketing or journalism
  • Four or more years’ experience in the field of public relations or communications (agency experience would be advantageous)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement PR proposals and strategies, with the support of junior team members
  • A good eye for identifying great stories, with strong pitching and media relations skills
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong relationships with key media
  • Social media campaign planning and implementation, including influencer management
  • Experience in new business development
  • A great sense of humour and team player approach (we like to have fun and so do you!)
