Communications and PR agency Wrights has announced that it has promoted Reena Llanillo to the role of communication director.

Full-service public relations and communications agency Wrights has promoted Reena Llanillo as communication director, to oversee the day-to-day operations, lead its team of consultants, and help continue building its impressive portfolio of retainer clients.

Reena joined the Wrights team in November 2023 as communication manager having previously held senior leadership roles in multiple PR agencies.

Reena has extensive experience working with clients in the tech, logistics, food and beverage, retail, and real estate space across Australia and APAC regions.

“I’m thrilled to be taking the next step in my career at Wrights and I’m excited to continue contributing to the growth of the firm alongside a talented team,” Reena said.

Wrights managing director Douglas Wright said when welcoming Reena’s fresh perspective to the agency’s strategic approach.

“Reena is an exceptionally strategic communication professional and has contributed tremendously to the firm in her first few months. I’m looking forward to seeing her thrive in her new role” Douglas said.

This year, Wrights has also seen internal growth promoting both Sarah Kmet and Nicole Panoutsos to senior communication consultants and has this week welcomed Thomas Spillane to the team.

Tom has moved from RD Consulting in Canberra to take on the role of communication consultant at Wrights and will work closely with Reena and the team.
